READY OR NOT....IT'S NOVEMBER!
Beautiful People…Ready or Not…It’s November 1st. Who remembers when you were little and you played Hide and Go Seek and the “seeker” would do the countdown while everyone would run and hide and at the end of the countdown, the “seeker” would say, “Ready or Not, Here I Come”! Well, I don’t know whose doing the countdown, but it’s here. Which brings me to a question for all of us…”what are we counting down to”…the countdown could be soooooo many things y'all. Are we counting down to starting the business, to mending relationships, to selfcare, to debt relief, to forgiving ourselves for mistakes we have made, to be a better person, to stop judging others and take a closer look at ourselves….and on and on!
With the election taking place this week, I’m sure we are all preparing ourselves for “ready or not”…it’s the uncertainty of not knowing but one thing I do know for sure….and I’m speaking totally for myself, is that I trust God and God is ALWAYS in control…this year has been filled with so many unexpected moments…things that I truly didn’t see coming and by God’s grace, I’m here…yes, still trying to figure out certain things on this journey but I’m so thankful for my blessings…sooooo very thankful.
So, “Ready or Not” y’all, a new month is upon us….I’m praying for strength for all of us….strength to make it through whatever may come our way….strength to somehow find a positive in the unexpected…strength to know and believe that there will be better days ahead! Beautiful People, stay focused on your dreams and your passions…trust me, I’m preaching to myself as well!
Fashion Deets: You all know how much I love my knits and I’m wearing the Mariah Ribbed Knit Maxi Dress from Anthropology…how cute is this dress y’all and I’m loving the golden color, chartreuse! It also comes in three other colors. I’m wearing my over the top boots from DSW, but there are so many different ways to style this piece! Now, for the chilly Fall days in VA, I’m wearing the Sigurd Longline Blazer! We all need several blazers in our wardrobe and I’ve had so much fun styling this piece.
