HAPPY HOLIDAYS BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE
Happy Holidays Beautiful People! Yes, I’m a little late on this post but as the saying goes, “better late than never”! I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season and yes it was a little different but I’m thankful that I was here….healthy and able to celebrate with my family. Holidays can be ahard time of the year for some of us…for me, it’s a bit hard because I loss loved ones during this time of the year and it totally has a different feel for me and with all that has happened in 2020, at times, if I be honest, it was a bit depressing.
I have to share that after my parents passed and it’s been over 20 years, and it was during the holiday season, well, after their passing, I just found it hard to put up a tree and holiday decor….the funny thing is that my mom celebrated Christmas to the highest! She loved decorating and the more the merrier! I would always think that she would be so disappointed in me for not putting up any Christmas decor! Well, this year, I put up the cutest little tree….I got it from Target and the ornaments and gift wrapping are from Anthropologie and the Angel on top is a gift from my family member.
Y’all, I have to admit that getting the tree and putting up a little holiday decor was just what I needed….I honestly believe that my mom was smiling down upon me and saying, yes, I’m so proud of you!
How cute are my angels….they were a gift from a special family member….they truly have a special meaning to me….I’m going to keep them out all year…..they’re watching over me…and we all need someone to watch over us….I’m wishing you all a wonderful holiday season and sending you lots of holiday hugs and let’s not forget the reason for the holiday season!
Christmas is a time that we celebrate the birth of Jesus and also a time to be with our family and friends….a time to get together and cook and eat and to laugh and talk about memories from our childhood and to listen to music and just to have a good time and to help others…it’s all about giving and being of help to others.
