LEARNING NOT TO SETTLE!
Happy Monday Beautiful People! Over the weekend, I got a chance to hang out with the girls for a little bit and we had a goooood time! Lots of laughter and lots of hugs and what I really loved is the way we encouraged one another. I have to say that I have a circle of wonderful girlfriends…..just simply good girlfriends who want each other to succeed. At the end of the night, we all went around the table and we shared one of the top 5 things we learned in 2019 and “not settling” in some kind of form or fashion was on everyone’s list.
“Not Settling” may have a different definition for each of us so I can only speak for myself but I think we can all relate in some way to each person’s definition of “not settling”! First and foremost, we all must know that without a doubt that we are all worthy of the blessings that GOD has for us. Sometimes we allow things that happened in the past, make us feel like we don’t deserve a second or a third chance…we don’t forgive ourselves for mistakes that we’ve made…we feel that we have to have that “someone” in our lives and we know all the time that we shouldn’t be in this relationship but we don’t want to be by ourselves…..let me just pause and say, it’s okay to be single y’all…you have to love yourself and totally be okay with it….be confident in your own skin…..YOU ROCK!….just a reminder to let you know that you don’t have to settle for a relationship that isn’t “feeding” you…you want someone who will grow with you…this applies to all relationships.
Are you a “yes woman” or “yes man”. If you find yourself doing things that you don’t want to do or agreeing with someone because you think this is what you need to do in order to get along with the person because you think you need them as a friend…this can be so toxic y’all…stop settling! Do you find yourself making excuses for people who hurt you or disrespect you…stop settling y’all.
Please know that you are worthy of the best…you are WORTHY! Always know that “not settling” means you love yourself, you care about yourself! I’m sending you all sooooo many positive vibes and I thank you for stopping by today…have an AMAZING day Beautiful People….xoxoxo
