MY 20 WARDROBE ESSENTIALS - PART I

Happy Wednesday Beautiful People! Today, I’m sharing 5 of my 20 wardrobe essential pieces…let’s be honest ladies…there are just some key pieces that are a “must have” in our wardrobe…for me, I wear these pieces season after season…I’m not a “trendy” shopper and being that I shop my closet on a regular basis, I always shop for pieces that will always be in style…I’ll purchase a new top, a pair of shoes or an accessory to change the look….so let’s get started and let me know what are some of your key wardrobe pieces that are essential for you!

An all black everything look is definitely at the top of my list. A black sweater or blouse and a pair of black trousers….you can never go wrong! This look is perfect for the office and for going out. This “look” truly looks AMAZING on everyone!

The sweater is from Ann Taylor and I purchased it in the Fall of 2017. The pants were purchased back in 2017 as well, but I love these!

Now you have to have your favorite pair of jeans in the mix! These are my favorites from South Moon Under, which I purchased a couple of years ago and they still look good y’all…still in style!

Ladies, we all have the Little Black Dress….it’s simply just a must. These two are from Maggy London…they have the most gorgeous occasion dresses. Whether you’re going to a wedding as a guest, holiday parties, special date night…whatever the special occasion, you’ll truly make a statement in the LBD!

For me, a black leather jacket is key to the wardrobe. You can basically dress it up or down and so cool to wear in the “in between” weather…those days when it’s just a little chill in the air…I got this jacket from Macy’s and I love the look and feel of it y’all…I’m having so much fun wearing it….as you can see in the images, I paired it with pants and a dress…both are such chic looks.

And last but not least…..you have to have the statement bag….there are soooo many cute bags to choose from, so today, I’m sharing the beaded clutch from Anthropologie and my velvet clutch from Ann Taylor…the Ann Taylor bag was purchased in the Fall of 2017.
