WHAT I KNOW FOR SURE...PART II
Happy Wednesday Beautiful People….I can’t believe next week is Christmas and 2019 is just around the corner…oh how this year has flown by! Earlier this year, I wrote a post on “What I Know For Sure”…you can find it here….so I thought I would share Part II with you today…it’s amazing how things can change…some for the good and some that totally catches you off guard.
As I’m sure you all know, LIFE can be hard at times….just when you think you got one thing solved and you feel as though things are getting better, something else happens…sometimes out of the blue with no warning at all and sometimes it simply the result of the choices that we have made. I always say that we don’t know what someone is going through…we can look so beautiful and confident on the outside and have pain going on the inside. Let’s not judge each other….we all have a story!
What I Know For Sure….it’s okay to be single. I was chatting with a friend the other day and we got on the topic of being single…we both shared how sometimes we are judged for being single…we are judged because we don’t have kids…at times, it’s like we had to explain why we are single…why we don’t have kids….I know for sure that I don’t have to explain the why of me being single or that I don’t have kids…and there isn’t anything wrong with me because I don’t…I have so many children in life and while I’m not their mom, their grandmother, not related to them in any way, I’m blessed to be in their lives and to know that in some way, I’ve made a positive difference in their lives.
What I Know For Sure….don’t give up on your dream…don’t let the excuses you keep telling yourself get in the way…pray for strength and know that you are worthy for greatness and to be a winner….sometimes you’ll have to encourage yourself and that is totally okay!
What I Know For Sure….you can’t live in this world by yourself…we all need someone to help us at some point…we need a “cheerleader”, we need a mentor, we need a confidant, we need that person that says I’m going to pray for you and they truly do and that person that prays for us just because!
What I’m wearing…..I looooove this leopard faux fur jacket created by I.N.C (International Concepts) for Macy’s…..faux suede pull on pants in camel…..and the varsity-sleeve sweater in camel…..wearing my favorite white booties and gold accessories….all from I.N.C. and created for Macy’s!
