HOW TO WEAR YOUR DRESS AS A SKIRT
Happy Monday Beautiful People….I hope your weekend was fabulous and yes, you read the title correctly….I shopped my closet and I purchased this dress about four years ago..it has the spaghetti straps and is perfect for summer…I actually hadn’t worn it so I thought since I was “shopping my closet, I would wear my black turtleneck from Banana Republic over the dress and make a totally different look with it…..and as you can see, it’s such a chic look….I actually wore this look to church on yesterday and I wore my black leather jacket with it…I got so many compliments and everyone was so surprised when I told them the “skirt” is actually a “dress”!
My dress is from ASOS…of course it isn’t available since I purchased it about four years ago, but here are a few dresses that would be perfect to pair with a sweater to create a totally new look….this one, this one, and this one…..and I’m sure you may have the perfect dress in your closet to transform into another look….shop your closet ladies!
To complete the look…..don’t you just love these white booties from Macy’s ….there're from their I.N.C. line and they are just so comfortable and I love the black side panels….I also like these white booties and these are super cute too!
Inspiration for today….are you scared of change? Change can be scary and change can be very uncomfortable. The fear of the unknown will lead us into worry…sleepless nights….loss of appetite….we start to worry about what’s ahead and this is the time we need to find strength…a strength that we need to dig deep and hold on and know that no matter what, God has our back…no matter what the situation he’s there for us…keep your head up and know that nothing last forever…this too shall past…whatever it is that you’re going through….be strong…don’t give up and find the courage to pull you through…every set back is a set up for a come back…it’s going to be alright…..God has our back….keep smiling and speak life over your situation.
