THE YELLOW PLEATED SKIRT!

Happy Monday Beautiful People! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend….it’s the start of a new work week and I’m so ready for Spring y’all….how about you….I have to share with you that I featured this skirt in the fall of 2017 when I launched my blog…as you know, I shop my closet and I’ll have this golden skirt on repeat this Spring…styled a little differently of course, but I love a pleated skirt and this one is truly a classic.

Y’all I’ve been a rut lately, so forgive me for my lack of posting …with Spring around the corner, I’m planning some new photo shoots…a YouTube channel and consistency in posting…life can truly throw us some curves y’all…during the season of Lent, I’ve given up a few of my favorite things that I love to eat and I’m not eating any solid foods after sundown. The first couple of days were a bit hard…but it wasn’t because I was hungry…it was hard because I’m just used to eating whenever…getting a snack when I’m on the laptop writing a post….or watching tv.

Instead, I get a cup of tea or I drink my water with lemon. After day four, it’s as if I had been doing this all along…now, I just need to spend more time talking to God and praying…this is so important to me y’all…so very important…so with that being said…I’ll end this post…and go spend sometime with God…just thanking him for blessing me and getting me through….I’m sending you all positive vibes and lots of hugs!

My beautiful Serena of Love By Serena and I got together and did a mini photo shoot.  Serena and I hadn't seen each other in over a year so it was really sweet to catch up and girl chat.  It was like we never missed a beat.  Isn't it wonderful how strong some friendships are....you don't have to be in touch on a constant, but when you get together, it's like you have been in contact everyday.  My golden skirt is from Ann Taylor.  My jean jacket is an oldie but goody, I’ve had this jacket for over ten years y’all….I added the fabric flower for a chic look and feel!
