Hi Lovelies and Happy Monday.  I started my week off attending church services on yesterday and then a birthday brunch with one of my best friends.  I have to say, starting the week off at church is a positive for me and hearing the word gets me prepared for what life will bring to me during the week. During my morning prayer, I asked God to bless me with a much needed word from the pastor.  Something that would feed my soul!

The pastor preached on "being different".  Not following the crowd.  Being YOU! That's it's okay to do things a different way and that God wants you to be different and to be YOU, for if you are trying to be like someone else, you will miss the blessings that God has for YOU!  The message truly hit home for me as I start Medley Style.  Coming from the blogging world of flowers and weddings and stepping into fashion and lifestyle, is a "different world" for me.  My goal with Medley Style is to inspire you not only with beautiful clothes, flowers, and places...but to "feed your soul" with inspirational words and experiences from what I've gone though in this thing called life.  

So, I'm gonna do me y'all and I encourage you to do YOU!  No one can do YOU, like YOU can!  I've made a promise to myself to not get caught up in the social media hype and start to doubt myself if I'm not getting as many "likes" or "followers" or "comments" as someone else.  I won't compare myself to others, that's such a waste of time and it takes too much energy and bottom line....it's just so unnecessary.  Sending you all positive vibes and hugs and thank you so much for stopping by today.....xoxoxo
